In 2012, Sushi Hana opened its doors with one mission in mind: Create fresh, authentic Japanese flavors for Boulder residents of every age. Nestled next to the iconic University of Colorado, Boulder campus, we proudly serve students, staff members, and families in the Boulder community, dedicating ourselves to creating an unmatched dining experience for patrons from all walks of life.

We come for the lunch special and it is incredible value. $12 for 2 rolls and a miso, or $15 for 3 rolls and a miso is what we get. It is great sushi for a low price. The atmosphere at night/on the weekends is also very young fun!

I’ve been dinning at Sushi Hana on the Hill for the better part of 2 years, and I must admit that they’re a top notch restaurant. I’ve tried more then half the menu items but I’ve settled on a usual that has become a mantra of sorts when i order. It can get lively sense it’s next to the college, but that becomes a part of the charm.“

The owners were so nice; one of my friends is gluten-free, and they were very good about communicating what foods had gluten and which didn’t. Also, they were very welcoming and friendly. I got one of their lunch boxes, and it was so good!
